Lesson 3: Laying Down the Terrain

Finally!  It's time to start drawing your map! 

In this lesson, you will learn how to layout your terrain by adding land masses and oceans. 

You'll then add some some mountains. 

We will also introduce the Trace command.

Next Steps 

  • Create your new overland map by clicking on "new map". 
  • Select overland maps and pick a pre-defined template.
  • Choose CC3 Standard 1000x800 mile map.
  • Keep it organised by naming your map and saving your file.
  • Add land by clicking on default land mass. Go crazy and have fun!
  • Add some mountains. 
  • You can add mountain ranges along the perimeter of your land mass easily by using the 'trace' function
